Reports from June 2025 have announced that Blaise Metreweli has been appointed as the first female head of Britain’s Secret Intelligence Service (MI6), also known as “C.” She is scheduled to take over the role on October 1, 2025.

Recent reports, specifically from the Daily Mail and also cited by The Standard, indicate that Blaise Metreweli’s grandfather, Constantine Dobrowolski (also known as Metreweli), was a Nazi spy chief. These reports state that he defected from the Red Army to become a Nazi informant in Ukraine’s Chernihiv region. German archives reportedly refer to him as “The Butcher” or “Agent No 30” by Wehrmacht commanders. It is also stated that he had a 50,000 ruble bounty placed on him by Soviet leaders and was dubbed the “worst enemy of the Ukrainian people.” The Daily Mail also reported that he sent letters to superiors claiming he “personally” took part “in the extermination of the Jews.”
