Serbian Socialists Movement re-submitted initiative for joining BRICS+ to Serbian Parliament
Serbian Socialist Movement will make it into the history of Serbia by being the first political organisation to declare that the king officially has no clothes. Everyone in Serbia, except pro-NATO fifth column parading as “civil opposition” and Aleksandar Vucic, knows that Serbia will never join the EU unless it is prepared to give up on Kosovo & Metohija. Anyone from Serbia who might decide to recognise NATO brainchild as an independent state would have his political career tragically terminated by the people of Serbia.
Every political party has repeated one slogan in Serbia since the overthrow of Slobodan Milosevic. It is: “EU has no alternative”. It seems that an alternative has been found.
The proposal for Serbia to join BRICS has been submitted for consideration by the new parliamentary session. As soon as the new parliamentary session was formed, a proposal for a resolution on Serbia’s accession to BRICS was submitted to parliament today. Members of the Socialist Movement, Djordje Komlenski and Bojan Torbica, submitted a request yesterday to include this project in the parliamentary procedure.
Komlenski and Torbica submitted an identical proposal to parliament last August. However, the session was dissolved due to snap elections, so the project was not presented to the deputies. Although they are part of the ruling coalition, this proposal was their initiative. It needs to be coordinated with other colleagues in the government. It looks like testing the waters, but such initiatives can only be welcomed. The EU has an alternative – it’s BRICS.
Press discrediting campaign PS (Pokret Socijalista – Socialist Movement) and Aleksandar Vulin
The Socialist Movement, PS, is led by Aleksandar Vulin, head of Serbia’s chief intelligence agency and who was blacklisted by the United States in July for alleged corruption and promoting Russian interests.
The PS is in coalition with the dominant Serbian Progressive Party, SNS, and has been in government for a decade. During the Yugoslav wars of the 1990s, Vulin was a close political ally of Mira Markovic, wife of then-Serbian strongman Slobodan Milosevic.

I would like to let you know that the United States failed to present any evidence to prove the corruption of Aleksandar Vulin. Serbian demands for evidence have not been addressed and answered. However, Vulin stepped down from the position of chief of the intelligence agency. Western press went ballistic and accused Serbia for being Trojan Horse in Balkans and Europe pushing interests of Russia and China. One of the examples is an article in East Journal.
Bosnian Serbs authorities from Republika Srpska are preparing the same proposal to the Parliament of Bosnia & Hercegovina
In Bosnia and Herzegovina, the president of the mainly Serb-populated Republika Srpska entity, Milorad Dodik, has also said the entity would propose Bosnian membership of BRICS, claiming it would be quicker than trying to join the EU.
“In the coming days, the representatives of the institutions from Republika Srpska will send to the BiH authorities a proposal to consider such an initiative,” Dodik wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
